September 13, 2020, 11:00 – 13:00, 14:00 – 16:00 (workshop)

Marktsteeg 10

Screening & Workshop: €8, Workshop Only: €5

The day of kid-friendly activities begins with a selection of short films curated exclusively for young children (ages 3 to 10)at Kijkhuis, beginning at 10:30am. This session tells a story without the use of language or subtitles. Drawing on real life experiences and recounted through playful and innovative media, the films shown here will stimulate your children's creativity, joy, and imagination, and will bring out the kid even in the most mature viewers.

From 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm we will be joined by De Animatiebus for a workshop where kids can learn more about animation! This year, inspired by our theme, kids will be focusing on creating animations around the topic of climate change. Come for both the screening and the workshop, or simply choose whichever one fits your schedule!

Combined Tickets (screening-workshop) will be sold on the Kijkhuis website: https://www.bioscopenleiden.nl/Kijkhuis. Please note that after purchasing the combi ticket you will be contacted by email with the assigned time slot for the workshop.

Tickets for the workshop only can be purchased here via eventbrite.

IMPORTANT: Due to corona regulations only a limited number of people are allowed in Marktsteeg 10 simultaneously (including staff and parents).

Please notice that the event has two separate locations: the screening will take place in Kijkhuis, whereas the workshop will be held in Marktsteeg 10.
