It is often said that humans are the only species that are able to perceive themselves as separate from the world they inhabit. Despite this fact, our minds and hearts are constantly preoccupied with our relationships with others. The films in this session delve into the complex ways in which we interact with the world around us, from our relationship with nature and the people who have influenced our lives, to the unspoken emotions we keep hidden and the desire for personal liberation.
These films aim to explore the conflicting and often contradictory ways in which we connect with others, the environment, and ultimately, ourselves.
