The human body is in a state of constant flux. It is an ever-changing landscape, continuously transforming over time. The body is gendered, racialized, and sexualised; it is also a source of playfulness and exploration, anxiety, and desire. The films in this session explore the materiality of human existence, its implications, and its complexities. They illustrate the processes by which bodies are altered, transformed, reproduced, or rendered powerless.
