What do we see from our windows? I see images of violence of a country in crisis through the eyes of Venezuelans, images of a social collective memory.

Director Biography

Jhon Ciavaldini, december 12, 1986, Venezuelan documentary filmmaker based in Argentina. Bachelor of Journalism from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Winner of an Ibermedia Scholarship to participate in the Diploma in Creative Documentary at Universidad del Valle, Colombia with the French Film School Atelier Varan. Currently finishing his Masters in Documentary Cinema at Universidad del Cine (FUC), Argentina, where he is also a researcher (FUC-CYT), and part of the programming team of the Multimedia Institute for Human Rights in Latinamerica and the Caribbean (IMD) for their Human Rights Film Festival (FICDH) and the Environmental Film Festival (FINCA). In 2017 along with students of Universidad del Cine they created La Cordillera Films, in honor of the Andes mountain range that crosses South America, and also so do its members. Currently working on the development of his first long feature Diaspora, Best Pitch at the 8th Acampadoc (Panama) and first non-cuban project invited to the 13th Haciendo Cine lab at the Muestra Joven of the ICAIC held in La Habana, Cuba, in 2020.
