A foley artist creates sounds for a film starring a dressage horse and dissolves into his own imitation. Shot on 16mm film, PASSAGE winks at Eadweard Muybridge’s pre-cinematic experiments with horses.
Director Biography
Ann Oren (b.1979, Tel-Aviv) lives/works in Berlin and Tel-Aviv. Her films and video installations explore the performative quality of everyday life. She investigates collective desire with characters who exist in the liminal space between performers and audience, winking at legends from the history of literature, theater and cinema.
