After finishing secondary school, two teenage friends hang out in the industrial margins of their rapidly changing hometown. It's the middle of the summer, the last summer the boys have to explore their relationship before one of them is forced to move away.
I'm a director, audiovisual artist and alternative cultural organizer based in Amsterdam. I was born in 1994 in Lima, Peru and moved to Amsterdam as a kid. For my BA, I studied at Amsterdam University College and at The New School in NYC, majoring in film and philosophy. Currently, I'm a student at Resolution – MA Moving Image, Sandberg Instituut. My current work often deals with lost futures, counterculture, and emotional experiences of loss in relation to neoliberal urban displacement. I love combining moving image with music and writing, making work that is community-oriented, and creating and engaging with spaces that fuse hedonism and activism.
