Director Biography

Camila Kater is a director, scriptwriter and animator. She works as an assistant animator in Ale Abreu's new feature animation "Voyagers of the Enchanted Forest" (in production). Recently, she worked as an art and animation assistant in the stop-motion feature film "Bob Spit, we don't like people" (in production) at Coala Filmes. She has worked as a production designer and animator in student animations such as "Flirt" (2015-Holland AnimationFilm Festival, Images Film Festival's official selections) and Unspeakable (in postproduction). She co-founded and coordinates the animation festival LESMA in Brazil, with 3 editions supported by MONSTRA, ANIMAGE and Stop Trik. She has just finished her first animation "FLESH" which was recently selected to premiere at the72nd edition of Locarno FilmFestival.
