Sahand Kabiri is a filmmaker based in Tehran who was born in 1991. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the Art University of Tehran in Cinema with a major in scriptwriting. He has made four short films so far. His movies have been praised in different festivals including Cinema House Film Festival where they were nominated for the “Best Movie” and “Best Director”. Also, he has won several awards from Nahal Independent Short Film Festival. He joined ISFA in 2012 where he also was the jury of ISFA’s festival for three years. He has been a member of the Academy Jury in Nahal Film Festival since 2015.
